I finally had some time to finish up new KDE/Mac builds. They're current as of a few days ago, and should be finishing seeding shortly.
You can find out more on downloading them here.
There are still a ton of rough edges, but I see a lot of the groundwork kdelibs cleanup that's been going on has helped the mac builds too. Konqueror actually works pretty well, with https even! Some stuff has regressed however, it looks like a lot of the pretty SVG work that's gone on in kdegames has made things look a little goofy. Bits of KOffice work enough to actually do something interesting with them. fish:// still doesn't work, but I think that may be true on Linux as well. 🙂
Anyways, as always, bang on them and let me know what you think.

Thanks a lot for your work! I’m using kmail (3.3.6/X11) as my primary MUA since I switched from Linux to Mac OS X on my laptop half a year ago and I love to use the native port some day.
I was quite exited to use to use the latest builds, but there seems to be a lot of work to do. Currently besides kwrite, no application I tried works as expected:
– kmail doesn’t start, it only gives me an error message (“Unable to find multimedia backend”)
– konqueror starts, but when I enter a URL (http, https, ftp, file), I get this message: “Protocol not supported”).
If you need more information, I can send you a detailled email or whatever way of communication you prefer.
Thanks again, Thomas
Try running kbuildsycoca4 again. I don’t know why, but for some reason it’s still not doing it correctly on install.
Things should work then. 🙂
Thanks! KMail starts now, but I get error messages, because it couldn’t find mime types.
Konqueror still doesn’t work:
Fatal Error: Accessed global static ‘BrowserExtension::ActionNumberMap *s_actionNumberMap()’ after destruction. Defined at /Users/ranger/cvs/packages/source.build/kdelibs/kparts/browserextension.cpp:386

Hi, could you please check what’s going on with the “everything” seed? A lot of people (including me) seem to be stuck at 39.7%. Thanks.
