It's been in unstable for a little while now and seems to be firming up. There have been a few upgrade issues but I've gotten a lot of great feedback to help debug things and get them fixed.
If you notice issues, please e-mail me and I'll get them fixed as soon as possible.
Obvious question: What about KDE/Mac? 😀
Every time someone asks that, an angel dies.
thanks, i’ll give it a whirl…
oh ya, i forgot to ask… how is KDE/Mac going 😉
but on a serious i heard that the next version of KDE is going to concentrate on mac and win capability (getting rid of all that x11 crap)… is this true???
Not “concentrate,” but getting the Mac and Win32 ports up to snuff was one of the things to do.
Is there any chance of getting a newer KDE binary distribution in Fink? I’m still on KMail from 3.1, and 2 major releases have come and gone without any kind of binary releases, which seems very odd to me.
I’d build this stuff from source but I need my mail and it takes for freaking ever to build KDE on a laptop.
Regards
As soon as I can get 3.4.0 stabilized, I want to move it to stable, so it will be in the next binary dist.
