I actually had KDE 3.2.1 ready the same day as the tarballs were released! =)
The Fink announcement is here. The official KDE announcement is here.
Let me know if you run into problems, this one seems stable enough that it might be worth moving to Fink stable.
[Update:] Just a reminder, if you have problems, please don't just post to the blog comments, e-mail me instead.
I hope this one makes it to stable! I just can’t wait. All my linux and bsd machines are already running 3.2.0…..
What is needed to build KOffice for OS X? Or are the binaries made already? I just want KOffice. Do I need all of KDE? Is Apple’s X11 needed? Will KOffice run natively in OS X? Do I need fink? Can you tell I’m a bit confused? 🙂
I’ve read the information at http://kde.opendarwin.org/ but have not downloaded anything yet since I am running Jaguar and I’m not clear as to what is needed. I don’t want to waste your bandwidth.
Thanks

Sorry, don’t know why my post got triple posted.
Well, you can build KOffice for MacOSX using X11 by doing a “fink install koffice” with unstable enabled.
If you want native KOffice, it’s more complicated. If you’re comfortable with patching and building stuff, see http://ranger.befunk.com/phpwiki/ for links to patches and such. The binaries in the webdav install on http://kde.opendarwin.org/ have been updated as of today, I’m uploading new dmg’s right now, if you just want to try KOffice out.
What’s involved in upgrading to the latest binaries? Should I uninstall the old ones first?
How would one uninstall, anyhow?
Thanks for all your work on this!
I tried to install this yesterday but it failed while updating QT with the following error:

Glen, could you e-mail more details to me? The blog isn’t the best place to do tech support.
Most likely you have a bad freetype or xft somewhere else like in /usr/local/ that’s messing things up.
